Association legend George Koch dies

Koch, a mentor to many current CEOs, was once labeled the "godfather" of K Street Koch George Koch, the association CEO who turned the Grocery Manufacturers Association into a potent political force, died last weekend. Cause of death was not immediately available. Koch led GMA from 1966 to 1990, when the group was Grocery Manufacturers of America.
